The exhibition consists of both mid-19th century and contemporary photography displayed alongside historical paintings. Featured are works by photographers such as Craigie Horsfield, Sam Taylor-Wood, Martin Parr, Julia Margret Cameron, Richard Billingham and Gustave Le Gray with a selection of influential paintings from the National Gallery collection.
