Duke Studios

Duke Studio's is an all round creative space in Leeds city centre, offering studio spaces, co-working membership and a variety of services. It aims to offer its services at affordable prices, making it accessible to the majority of creative individuals. I can't see how these services would appeal to students currently at Leeds College of Art as we already have all the same facilities and more provided for us at no additional cost. However, I can see how the services might appeal to graduates. By the sounds of things, upon completion, it is going to offer a good and fairly flexible range of workshops. As a student, these could be of interest to me depending on how obscure or specific some of the workshops are. The studio spaces and option of a co-working membership successfully accommodate creative individuals who previously had to work from home. I can see how these spaces would accommodate graduates as well, in that they provide a fairly affordable starting point and working space in amongst like-minded people much in the way college/university will have. I find it difficult to comment on the pricing of spaces and services as I am unaware of how much similar things cost elsewhere.
